To be honest we were kinda hoping to hear that announcement from Seagate, but it seems that WD slapped those workers harder and voila the new Caviar Green 2000GB WD20EADS. It will be officially launched somewhere this week it will feature 32MB of cache, 8.9ms seek time and it will run either at 7200 or 5400RMP.

This week at week’s Macworld the company will be showing a new app for Ipod Touch and Iphone, that will give users access to Cable TV and also Tivos if they of course they have a network connection.

BBC iPlayer Mac ready!

The BBC just created a version of the iPlayer that works with both Mac and Linux platforms. The player, known as BBC iPlayer Desktop, is created by BBC in a joint venture with Adobe.
