Apple has quietly (lately they do that a lot) introduced a new QWERTY keyboard that somehow looks like the old Apple keyboard, but it lacks a numeric keypad, and it is still wired like the old ‘board.

Apple MacBook Pro 15-quiet CPU spec bump

But thats why we are here to let you know when that happens. It’s the case of Apple’s MacBook Pro 15, who got a “quiet” CPU bump from 2.4GHz to 2.53GHz. Apple offers an upgrade path to 2.66GHz and to2.93 GHz for the 17 inch model.

Apple re-designed most of their product lines, but one thing in particular was left untouched..so far. Apple’s only in-house designed mouse, the Mighty Mouse, can be aligned with the new aluminum product lines or at least, we hope so. BBC iPlayer Mac ready!

The BBC just created a version of the iPlayer that works with both Mac and Linux platforms. The player, known as BBC iPlayer Desktop, is created by BBC in a joint venture with Adobe.
