It’s the case of Location in Signature option that appends your current location (determined by your public IP address) to your email adress.
Also if you’ve got Gears with location awareness installed, your results will be even more accurate.

Google goes to the next level of data sorting

google winter holidayGoogle just announced that they just sorted 1 Tb of data across 1000 computers in 68 seconds. Yes, you read it right, only if it were a world record for something like this. The previous ‘attempt’, according to Google, was done in 209 seconds and it sorted 1 Tb across 910 computers.

Google also acknowledges that they had triple redundancy and it’s an important factor in this benchmark, as the data was backed up on 3 different hard drives. Read more
