How to lose your toolbag in space, Part 1
November 20, 2008
While trying to grease-up the Space Stations creaky solar-panel-rotating gears, some grease accidentally squirts into the toolbag, and astronaut H.S. Piper loses her bag while trying to clean it up. If your kid will shout one day “when I grow up I wanna be an astronaut and drink pee” , don’t be alarmed - it’s how the things are done up there: NASA has been working on a waste recycling system for the International Space Station, which will be able to recycle all the ‘used’ water.

They also say this research will help astronauts prepare for space conditions. Now, either I am extremely stupid or just shocked, but how will the scent of space help any astronaut? I mean, you can feed him well before launch, the fried steak scent can drive a man wild, but still, it’s this so helpful? Read more
