freeaudioeditor 290x182Many times I find myself looking for a fast and a free way to edit some sounds, and I do not require a fancy tool just the basic thing to do some cutting and fading. The Free Audio tool, well first of all it is free (doh). But the fact that it is free does it make it better than other softwares, such as Audacity? Read more

Internet Explorer 8 release candidate out now

January 27, 2009

ie8 logoAfter six months of beta, Internet Explorer 8 release candidate is now available.

I can’t say if this is a happy moment because I’m kinda used to my Chrome and Mozilla browsers. But let’s see what Microsoft did with IE 8 this time. The ‘compatibility mode’ is now automatic – switching whenever the IE8 engine can’t render a page properly, rather than having to be triggered on demand. Read more

You can still download Windows 7 Beta till February 10th

January 26, 2009

screenshot windows 7 290x183Yep, hurry up, because if you haven’t downloaded the public beta of Windows 7, you’ll need to do so before the February 10th.

For those with slower connections, if you start the download by the 10th you need to finish it until the 12th. If you don’t , there’s no need to panic because Microsoft will continue to make product keys available for the beta even after the 12th.
All you need to do is locate the.ISO file elsewhere.

Upgrade your Sniper Rifle with an iPod mount

January 20, 2009

sniper ipodmount 290x193We all love a good sniper rifle! Even if I never used one, I sometimes imagine myself going on weird missions and killing all sorts of bad guys. Yes, I am that brave !

If you feel the same way, or maybe if you do this for a living (drop us a comment and let us know more about it) you gotta have the new Bullet Fight app and a new mount for your iPod.  Knights Armaments sided with Runaway technologies and they’ve build an external ballistics calculator for the iPod Touch / iPhone named Bullet Flight.

“It is your standard ballistics application. You can set firearm / ammunition profiles, then call up the saved profile and enter your environment information, for example, distance, wind direction, elevation and temperature” ( The Firearm Blog ).

Hitmen around the globe are already set and ready to download this app, I can feel it. Bullet Fight application costs just  $11.99 and you can download it from the Apple Store.
