freeaudioeditor 290x182Many times I find myself looking for a fast and a free way to edit some sounds, and I do not require a fancy tool just the basic thing to do some cutting and fading. The Free Audio tool, well first of all it is free (doh). But the fact that it is free does it make it better than other softwares, such as Audacity?

It has an easy-to-use interface, it can handle several audio formats such as MP3, WMA, WAV and OGG. It includes features like batch processing, recording, CD ripping/burning, and text-to-speech. If you’re looking for a fast way to edit some sounds this application might worth a look , but let’s not forget that  the also-free, cross-platform, and open-source Audacity, can also remove vocals and it can create ringtones from any MP3.

Free Audio Editor is a free download for Windows only.
