Drawdio analog synth pencil: make music when you draw !
Designed by Adafruit (in collaboration with Jay Silver), Drawdio is an analog tool synthesizer circuit that can be strapped onto any soft-leaded pencil, and lets you create out electronic sounds while you draw. You draw a cow, it goes moooooo ! Actually no, I was joking.
The pen is relying on the conductive properties of graphite found the pencil lead, and produces a storm of weird sounds as you put pencil to paper.
Drawdio is supplied as a kit for $19.50 (USD) and in the box you’ll also find a circuit board, all necessary hardware and a 2B pencil.
You draw a cat and it goes…mee-au, pew pew !! No… I was joking !
Hey, look ! a video !
