iRiver Wave WiFi phone available March 9th 2009 in Korea

iriver wave 290x221Couple of weeks ago we didn’t had an exact date for the release of the iriver phone but now we do: March 9th 2009.

Available at ten “iRiver Zones” in Korea first, Wave includes WiFi for media streaming, internet access and VoIP, a 3-inch, 480 x 272 touchscreen, e-dictionary and also FM radio.

Storage space won’t be much of a problem because it comes packed with a 4GB miniSD.Wave will also have default access to the Bugs Music Service for on-device media downloads. Formats like MP3, WMA, OGG and MPEG 1/2/2.5 audio files, and MPEG-4 (30fps 480 x 272) video files, are all supported.

Price is still an enigma and as always Europe will have to wait a little bit more.
