Recycling system will allow the astronauts to drink they own pee

space-pee-290x287If your kid will shout one day “when I grow up I wanna be an astronaut and drink pee” , don’t be alarmed - it’s how the things are done up there: NASA has been working on a waste recycling system for the International Space Station, which will be able to recycle all the ‘used’ water.

Simply put, it will process astronauts’ urine and then back to the station’s water supply to, as one of the current inhabitants nicely stated, “take yesterday’s coffee and make it into today’s coffee.”

They should also send some beer, just to make sure everything fits.
