Gmail gets video chat and voice support

video chat gmail 290x225Google just announced that Gmail will gain voice and video chat support straight from its web interface. The update can be seen within your Gmail account, right clicking on an online user will reveal the new option “Video and more”.

For this feature to work, you need to install a browser plugin, that can be installed from this page. Altough you may not see the new “voice and video chat” Gmail feature immiediatelly, we should expect all accounts to be ‘upgraded’ soon.
