Icicle: USB compatibility to any XLR microphone
I’m sure that many times you wanted to plug your standard XLR model microphone directly into your computer but there was always something in the way. Blue Microphones has come up with nice solution: Icicle, an in-line USB converter and preamp.
This XLR-to-USB audio interface will give you 48V phantom power, an analog preamp with gain control that will work with all your favorite XLR microphones. The sound quality (16-bit / 44.1kHz sound) is not meant for studio gear, but for some good karaoke times or any other recordings this will fit perfectly.
Available in December, Icicle will have the price of $60.
