HPI presents the G-Dog : Your new best friend

hpi g dog 250x290If you are thinking of replacing your chihuahua you should consider this four legged robotic dog. Yes that right, Japanese robot maker HPI will start selling this nice doggy, code name: G-Dog (why not X-dog?) later this month.
Powered by a 7.2V nickel metal hydride battery, with nine servomotors this pet is all made of aluminum. It’s sized at 375×135×190mm and weighs 570g. See, exactly like the chihuahua !

No leash required, in order to control the G-Dog you will need a Playstation-like joypad. The electronic pet will sit up,beg, crawl and of course roll over to its side. I’m just not sure about the tail wagging.
