trackstar 6000 290x149Maybe the Fanatec: Porsche 911 Turbo S racing wheel did not satisfied your need for driving, and if that’s true you can always try the Trackstar 6000 USB ! This may be the closest you can get to the real driving thing.

It has a two-tone leather steering wheel 13-1/2 inches in diameter. and they say it will provide highly balanced performance suitable for both oval track and tight lock-to-lock road course racing.

The sterring system is quite the attraction: (Fluid Damped Steering) provides velocity sensitive steering resistance that emulates the effect of tires on pavement.

Unlike many lesser driving controls, springs are not providing the primary resistance force. The result is incomparable stability, yet offering the driver the ability to make quick subtle corrections in the steering line.
An USB connection is in place, ready to take you to the next level of racing.

Three sets are available, running from $989 to $1398. Ouch !
