More Electric Toys: Audi’s A1 Sportback hybrid concept

Yes, we know! We are very careful this time. Every time we talk about Audi we end up drooling all over the place and making lots of weird noises.
Joining the “green fashion” Audi will release a new vehicle based on its A1 hybrid concept.

Let’s hit the specs:
This baby is quite fast,it will go from 0-62 MPH in 7.9 seconds, reaching a top speed of 124 MPH and we can also add low consumption - 72.4 miles from a gallon of fuel.

If you switch to electric mode, the vehicle will run 60 miles on a single charge.It has adjustable drivetrain, drive shaft and shock absorber system : Speed freak? sport mode is ready to satisfy that need for speed( optimum acceleration) and efficiency mode. The on-board navigation will calculate the route, car’s altitude, power usage and regeneration phases.

You can also use your cellphone to control the WLAN unit to access  the vehicle’s navigation, audio and remote monitoring of the security system.
