Creative X-Fi Go!: The flash drive sound card
Not so long ago, somebody asked for my opinion regarding an external sound card. While there are some good external sound cards out there (M-Audio, Xonar), they are aimed more towards the professional area and most are priced way over the average budget.
This is where the new Creative X-Fi Go! comes in. Shaped as a flash drive, acting as a 1 Gb storage drive and ’singing’ like a true X-Fi sound card, the Creative X-Fi Go! is your portable sound card. All you need to do is plug it in your USB drive and you’re all set. The X-Fi Go! packs a microphone port and a headphones/speakers port, all powered by the X-Fi tech. The sound card is of course powered by the EAX, giving your games the extra audio juice. And if this didn’t moved you, don’t forget you can use it as a 1 Gb memory stick..oh the price you ask me? Well, you can buy it for $49,99.

Great little product. Just snagged one. Its a super cool audio upgrade if you don’t have an ExpressCard slot for a laptop or just want a Sound Blaster option that delivers portable goodness. I picked one up in the US from Creative’s site for just $49 + $5 shipping.
