Buffalo’s NanoStation 60GB portable hard drive
The revolution of small hard-drives has just began and as demand grows for smaller disc drives in the consumer electronics industry, an equally robust response is driving major changes.
The 1.8-inch portable hard drive codename NanoStation HD-PT60U2 from Buffalo might be such an example. Thin as three stacked credit cards (6mm)it weighs 56 grams and has a 60GB capacity.
Features: easy-to-use backup and synchronization software,mobile applications including Firefox and Thunderbird,and the Buffalo’s SecureLockMobile software should prevent unauthorized data access.
NanoStation isUSB-powered, the drive is plug-and-play and requires no additional power supply.
Will go on sale in November for £65.99.
