Venturi Volage is beautiful, fast and electric !

Everyone is building electric cars, but how fast can these electric cars run?
For example Venturi has designed a new electric roadster capable of reaching 160 mph. That’s pretty fast I would say.

Named Volage, this baby uses Michelin’s Active Wheel technology, featuring two electric motors first one for propulsion and the second one for suspension. The whole thing can be configured and changed and rearranged for any desired ride at the touch of a… well, touch screen.

Production on the Volage is scheduled to start in 2012, so you’ll probably drive off into the sunset in Volage, by the end of…2013? No word on pricing yet.
