New world Record : 460,000 Lego Brick Tower

lego-tower-164x290Built in the Rathaus Platz it is now the tallest Lego construction in the world. Constructed with nearly 460,000 bricks it was built in  nearly four days.
Believe it or not, this was mainly the work of kids, lots of them - 3,000 to be more specific. Together they designed and used 121 plates using 2 x 4 Lego bricks.
The event that gave birth to the amazing lego tower was 100 Years of the Friends of Children festival in Austria.
Previous Guinness World Record for a lego building was set at 96.13-feet (29.3 meters), last May in Legoland Windsor.
