GTA 4 PC Version will land in November, but what are the specs?

I think GTA 4 is the most waited and wanted game for the PC at this moment, its console version having millions of copies sold worldwide. While many of us have the hardware to play this game and any game in fact, many are wondering what specs will GTA “eat”.

The Games for Windows website posted recently the specifications for GTA, but were removed from their site without a notification or explanation.

The specs were something like this:

- Operating System:  Windows XP SP2

- Processor: Dual core processor (Intel Pentium D or better)

- RAM: 2GB

- Hard Drive: 18GB free hard disk space

- Video Card: 512MB Direct3D 10 compatible video card or Direct3D 9 card compatible with Shader

- Drive: DVD-ROM dual-layer drive

IGN, our source, state that they have sent an email to Rockstar and they are waiting for an official response to this. We 18 Gb needed for GTA is probably wrong and if it isn’t, it’s quite alot in our opinion, we will keep you informed of any updates.
