The Renault Megane Trophy concept car, wow!

No, I’m not a fan of Renault, even if it coupled up with NIssan, but…the minute I got my eyes on the Megane Trophy concept, presented at the Paris 2008 auto show, I almost fell in love. Now, this car has only a 3.5-liter V6 mounted Nissan engine, pulling only 360 hp through a six-geared sequential gearbox.

Now, it’s not the engine that impressed me, let’s face it, when Nissan-Renault will produce some really competitive engines, call me. The body however, gave me the “oh rally..speed..arghh” impression, combined with a very very well done design. Oh and ya, it reminded me of the old Collin McRae rally game, somehow..

If this car will ever get out of the concept area, I’m sure we will see it alot in rally competitions worldwide. Until then, let’s just take a second and admire this beautiful body!
