Back in time: Search Google as if it was 2001

If you are new on the internet (whatever could possibly EVER mean), you may want to know that Google granted us the “pleasure” the search in “its oldest available index”, as they’re calling it. This “privilege” was granted due Google’s 10 years birthday and, like the eclipse, we should spam the grandpa’s index with searches NOW!

My first Google 2001 search was Gmail and suprinsingly, the well-known service was linux based email client. Well, actually, I lied about the first search, but I simply cannot make it public at this moment..uh. Of course, I did many searches for well-known websites from today, but I was suprised to find out they weren’t in that search index, mainly because..they didn’t exist back then. We are still thinking of possible searches from 2001, but it’s getting harder due to the fact that our brain is full of today’s cra…erm..informations.
