Google AdWords quality changes in progress
Advertiser quality score calculation will be changed within Google AdWords in the upcoming days, as promised by Google. While this change isn’t good news for many advertisers, Google states: “These improvements are part of a continuing effort to deliver relevant ads to our users, and also to provide you with more control over your bidding and more insight into the quality of your ads and keywords”.
Within the new AdWords system, quality is dependant of users that search for keywords. Minnimum bids will be affected aswell, being replace by a series of estimates. Historical data will be still taken into consideration, old advertisers having a little advantage.
This AdWords change will surely change the payouts in Adsense and its publishers, we are not quite sure how this will effect the industry at this point.
