Blizzard taxes for runnig World of Warcraft
If you are a company that runs a game as successful as it has been since the day one, you might wanna know how much (yes I’m talking about cash here) does it take to keep it running. We talk about running servers, pay customer service reps, pay for marketing, and the list can go on. World of Warcraft has been running for more than four years, so how much has the upkeep cost Blizzard?
Answer: $200 million. Or, at least that’s what Blizzard stated during yesterday’s analyst conference call.
That may sound like a lot but if you have, at least 9 million people playing…multiplied by 15…that’s almost 135 million a month…multiplyed by 12..then …
Nice bussines to be in !
