ASUS soon to unveil the Omnia smartphone (rumor)

asussmart1-290x145Some leaked images of the Asus smartphone on the Mobile01 forums, are revealing a spectacular release of an Omnia-esque device that will feature a large (WQVGA or WVGA) touchscreen, a slide-out keypad—with a 5-megapixel auto-focus cam, front camera and a main touchpad/trackball controller. Rumors are also including a 3.5-inch screen, Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro running Glide 1.5 UI, 3G, quad-band GSM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AGPS, and 4GB of on-board memory. That’s all we know so far about this Asus device but for sure we’re waiting patiently on some more news regarding pricing and a release date.
