Unlimited music with Sony Ericsson
Sony Ericsson is working on some unlimited music downloading service for its Walkman-branded cellphones. Financial Times reports are saying that Sony Ericsson already has an unlimited download service that will go live before the end of September, (with a launch date in Europe before Christmas) and also some deals locked up with EMI, Sony BMG ( doh !), Warner, and a few other small labels.
Right now you can access the pay-per-track function with roughly 5 million un-DRM-ed songs available, but having this new dowload service, Sony Ericsson might stand a chance in facing Nokia’s Music buffet after all.
