Aurora mixer is no longer available

Last week we were announcing the new open source mixer from Aurora and the orders for the DIY or completed kit that needed to be filled in until September 1, 2008. We are sorry to inform those who already placed an order, that in the end no one will be getting this mixer

Aurora stated that they have to secure a minimum of 50 orders to cover cost, but in reality they were only able to secure less than 20 orders. And because of this, they won’t able to meet the initial production numbers and have postponed the sale of the mixer indefinitely.

There is still hope. Aurora’s website will be up and running, along with the instructions on how to build your own mixer from scratch.
