It’s official, Xbox 360 Arcade price cut

xbox-360-arcadeMicrosoft finally announced officially that the Xbox 360 Arcade will have its price cut to $199 starting September 5. The manufactures clearly prepare themselves for the holiday season, but Microsoft surely wants to gain more market over Nintendo WII, the best selling console of the year.

The rumors didn’t stop, some speculate that the new Xbox 360 will come with a new motion sensitive controller, developed with Rare. If this is true, Microsoft’s intentions are very clear regarding Nintendo.

From the gamer persepctive, this can only only mean good news, competition will always be healthy no matter what. Now the remaning question is, will Xbox “steal” any percent of WII’s market?
