Hands on deck ! Aurora mixer is now available
Fancy dj-ing or producing music? well you must get your fingers going and blow those speakers with the new Aurora mixer. Whats inside: a dual channel USB powered mixer with two linear faders, one crossfader, eight backlit buttons and 24 potentiometers, all built around a PIC 18LF4525 microcontroller. Looking like a regular mixer so far ain’t it? but this one is very visually attractive, it has an incredible form design and controllable lighting both under the board and in the LEDs backlighting the buttons and knobs.
By now you already wanna buy one, but pricing might be a little too high for some of us; hold on, there are some good news: you can also can build one yourself. Aurora team has made both possible: you can contact them for pricing if you are ready to buy or If you prefer to build one, this is an open source project where you can find full assembly instructions, schematics, drivers, patches and all other source code and information you should need available here.
The aurora mixer is available in 2 versions, a fully assembled turn key deck and a DIY kit that requires the use of a soldering iron and also the ability to follow directions.
