Dubai Pyramid City could House 1 Million People
A proposed pyramid city or “The Ziggurat Project” in the Dubai desert will stand to almost 4000 feet in height, surpassing Burj Dubai (the tallest tower in the world) by hundreds of metres.
The pyramid project could actually support an entire community of up to one million people beeing the first city that will survive mainly by harvesting the power of nature. Also the founding company plans to ‘green’ the surrounding areas for a more natural living. The project was announced this week by Timelinks, an eco-design firm that plans to unveil the engineering wonder at Cityscape Dubai this year.
If this project will ever be completed, it’s expected to be the largest man-made residential structure on the planet, with its foundation covering more than two square kilometres.
