T-Mobile presents the Android phone, G1
The guys from AndroidGuys just published a technical drawing of the first Android powered phone from T-Mobile. The device is HTC and it has a 5 row QWERTY keyboard with a good spacing between the buttons. The source claims that this isn’t speculation at all, this device will hit the markets sometime in the near future.
Although I’m not a great fan of HTC, taking a first look at the drawings, I’m pretty confident that this device has a great potential combined with Google’s Android. The device is also thicker, approximately 0.64 inches, which brings another thumbs up in my opinion. The screen is also generous, the producers trying to bring this device closer to the iPhone’s screen, no doubt about it. G1 also has a menu button, that will bring up a Google applications menu.
I think we will have to wait and see further G1 specs as the producer “leaks” them and for the first time, I am personally thrilled about the G1 device..tired of iPhone maybe.
