Sony’s PS3 wireless keypad out this holiday season

The new wireless keyboard from Sony is going to be introduced worldwide this holiday season, North America in late November and in Japan, Europe and Asia by the end of the year.

On the keypad there are two shortcut buttons, a Communication Button and a Message Box Button, that will allow it’s users to jump to pre-set features on the XMB such as Friends screen and Message Box during game play. Also there is a Touch Pad Button that allows PS3 users to use the entire surface of the keypad as a touch pad, allowing them for faster web browsing by sliding their fingers around the keypad surface. Equipped with Bluetooth(R) functionality, the Wireless Keypad can be plugged into PS3 by simply connecting the keypad to the USB cable that comes bundled with the PS3 system.

If you want the keypad you can already pre-order the $49.99 accessory at Amazon but you’ll still have to wait till November 30th to get one.
