Orange pays you to stay in line for the iPhone 3G!

jobs_iphone-290x210When Apple launched the iPhone 3G in the US, large queues were formed outside stores. In Poland, it seems that things are not quite the same, Orange is paying actors to form lines for the new iPhone 3G. Now, I don’t have anything against the iPhone 3G, Apple or Orange, but seriously, I found this extremely ridiculous.

Orange has a very wierd marketing campaign, but somehow, I don’t completely disagree with them, Europeeans are a little reluctant when buying the iPhone through a rather high fee subscription. I sincerely don’t know if this “paid queue” will drive Polish people insane for the iPhone, but I’m curious if this attempt will somehow boost the iPhone’s sales.
