tequila8 290x239Its hot hot hot, feels like I’m trapped inside a hell furnace, so that’s quite the double-damage. Any ideas for how to escape this madness? how about a tequila?? Its too hot to get outside and buy one, but what if I just sit back, relax and order myself one? After some heavy browsing I’ve found this: Maestro Dobel: just launched this month and is the first ever diamond tequila. Looks yummy, sounds yummy. What does that mean? Apparently it means that it’s incredibly clear, incredibly strong, and well…incredibly expensive. It’s a blend of 3 different types of tequila, and in keeping with the diamond theme the creators of Maestro Dobel measure its superiority according to 4 C’s: clarity, complexity, crispness, and craftsmanship (worms not included).

The bad news is that you cannot order the spirit on line, you’ll have to look for Maestro Dobel starting this month in select establishments in Los Angeles, Boston, Milwaukee and Atlanta with a suggested retail price of $74.99.

“As you swirl the glass the more volatile aromas compounds are released and the spirit begins to open up. It is important to keep your mouth open to gather as much of the aroma as possible…”

ah..yes !
