3g iphone 290x290We’ve just heard that Apple has released a shinny new software update that will (or at least we hope so) improve 3G reception and also end dropped calls. At this point Apple has not specified what bugs are being targeted: “The information Apple gives is vague,” (Josh Pigford, - Apple Blog). “We’re guessing it will sort problems like 3G glitches and lost calls.” Some bloggers on CNET stated that since they downloaded the update they had a better 3G signal than before, while others said there was no difference.

This is alredy the second fix for the 3G device, for which the launch day was less than illustrious when many customers around the world had problems activating and  upgrading the earlier version of the iPhone.
