YouTube goes TiVo - Next level streaming

It was not enough that we watch YouTube videos at work and on our daily gadgets, now YouTube haunt us in our homes while watching TV. While this marriage was announced some time ago, it’s still left to be seen what competition will YouTube bring to the normal TV shows. The TV, as it is, has some serious competition and now, YouTube will be an alternative to your daily tv shows.

Starting Thursday, TiVo will allow its subscribers to stream their favourite YouTube vids directly onto their TiVo boxes, straight to their TVs.  It’s too early to draw some conclusions at this moment, but I guess we will see in the next couple of weeks. I personally expect some HD downloads in the near future,  meanwhile, you should check the official page
