World of Warcraft a step safer from Keyloggers.
If you’re a World of Warcraft player for sure your biggest fear is the encounter with a keylogger. Getting hacked in WoW is a nasty thing especially if you’re a hardcore player. Gold and items down the drain, the wait of getting back your character and the list goes on. But there are some good news:
It seems that Blizzard heard some complaints issued on their forums about these keyloggers and some had the idea of introducing a security number when you log in. Not a bad idea if you ask me; the small electronic authenticator will produce a six-digit security code that will have to be introduced before the player logs on.
Players who get the authenticator can register it with their WoW account and every time they try to log into their account they’ll have to provide their user name, password, and the generated code from the authenticator. If you want to remove it from the account you’ll have to call Blizzard and they will manually remove it. The generated code will only work for one login, and it will refresh if not used in 60 seconds. If you lose the authenticator, you must provide all the personal information to Blizzard and you will receive a new one. The bad news is that is not free: you want more security then you must pay: the authenticator will cost $6.50 and it can be purchased online and initially will be available only for US players.
My advice: get a good browser, use a decent antivirus and stop clicking shinny porn ads.
