Windows Xp – The End.
Bill Gates leaving Microsoft and now after lots and lots of delays, and rumors of more delays, the age of Windows XP has finally reached its final hour (could it be a coincidence?). It is official now : Windows Xp will be buried on 30 June .There were some rumors claiming that Microsoft might extend the sales date but of course all have proven untrue, as Microsoft stated that June 30 will be indeed the D day.
Downgrades will still be available for the Pc users and somehow I’m sure they will continue to arise; probably or most certain you will need to pay in order to get Windows Xp. Since Microsoft will stop the sale you’ll have to look somewhere else to purchase it.
Some voices are saying that Microsoft will continue to support XP and release security updates until 2014 so if we are to believe this voices, updates should work as they are now keeping us safe as they always did (or not).
So goodbye XP, may you rest in peace, it is a cold world without you now since Vista is roaming the land.
