cashMonetization is an important issue for any webmaster. The market is full with ad networks and affiliate programs but it’s still hard to decide which one suits best to your website/blog or which one performs better. We should all try to monetize our websites as much as we can, without stuffing them too hard, this isn’t good either. I will list some of the ad networks and affiliate programs that will help you make online money.

Google Adsense

Adsense is Google’s contextual advertising program and it’s one of the best ad networks out there. It’s very easy to use and it suits any website or blog and the payment is calculated based on the ad clicks received (CPC). They will provide you with a piece of code that once added to your pages, ads will be displayed under several aspects, depending how you configured them. If you want to see all the adsense blocks, you can visits Google Adsense ad formats page

Almost any website with some content is accepted by Adsense and you can sign up here

Tribal Fusion

Tribal Fusion is a CPM ( cost per impressions ) ad network and it performs very well with high traffic websites. TF is not contextual but it will display image ads from same categories as your website. The problem with Tribal Fusion is that they only accept sites with at least 2000+ daily unique visitors and the average CPM of 3-4$.

Kontera

Kontera is a ContentLink type advertising program and it ads an extra revenue for your website without giving up any current ad spots that you may have with other ad networks or affiliate programs. Kontera ContentLink will read your page content and then turns certain keywords from your page into ads (links with popup).

Azoogle Ads

Azoogle is one of the biggest and best affiliate program you can find on the market. They offer very high paying affiliate deals on the market and it’s impossible that you can’t find any offer that suits your website. I’ve seen payouts as big as 100$ on Azoogle so I highly recommend this network.

ReviewMe

ReviewMe allows any advertiser to buy reviews on your website/blog. You can choose the payout or let ReviewMe do that for you. Usually ReviewMe ranks a website after their Alexa Rank and the number of RSS subscribers. ReviewMe best suits blogs and it showed up as a good monetization method.

Yahoo Publiser Network (YPN)

YPN works exactly as Google Adsense and it looks like Google Adsense. The main problem is that currently Yahoo allows only US publishers.

AuctionAds is an eBay interface directly to your site. AuctionAds will show up products from eBay directly to your page and if one if your users clicks on the product, bids and wins the auction, you get your share, simple as that. This can turn into a a good monetization but it depends entirely on your traffic and visitor type.
